Young Personality of the Year (David Mott) |
The award recognised David for his significant impact on the early stage investment market. The judges were looking for evidence of the ability to source deals from a strong network, to assess opportunities, to manage the due diligence process and to close deals in difficult circumstances.
They were also looking for an individual with a reputation for providing valuable support to portfolio companies and who has played a significant role in driving the venture capital industry forward. |

Oxford Capital Partners was nominated for the Venture Capital Fund of the Year at the Investor AllStars Venture Capital Awards 2005.
This is an award for professional excellence, with judges looking for a track record of innovative fundraising, investments and exits, a reputation for adding value to portfolio companies, and a reputation for working closely with the early stage investment community. Oxford Capital Partners was also short listed for two other awards – Young Personality of the Year, which recognised David Mott as ‘one to watch’ for the future, and International Deal of the Year for the firm’s investment in Hardide plc. |
